The latest iteration of the Longines Legend Diver, a reissue of a 1960s diving watch of the brand, comes in a 42 mm bronze case matched to a shaded green lacquered dial.
Made of sapphire crystal, the boxed glass protects the dial as well as the bidirectional internal turning diving bezel that is activated and stopped by the crown located at 2 o’clock. The other crown is used to manually wind the movement and to adjust the time. Both crowns are screwed-down contributing to guarantee a waterproofness of up to 30 bar (around 300 metres / 1,000 feet).
The indexes, numerals and hands are coated with Super-LumiNova to ensure excellent legibility even in poor light conditions.
Protected by a screw-down solid case back decorated with an embossed illustration of a diver, houses an automatic mechanical movement that is exclusive to Longines, the Calibre L888.2 (ETA A31.L01) beating at 25,200 vibrations per hours with a power reserve of 64 hours.
The watch is paired with a brown leather strap finished with beige topstitching and comes with a second strap in green NATO-type nylon together with a tool for quick exchange.
The Longines Legend Diver Bronze (ref. L3.7126.96.36.199) has a retail price of SGD 4,450.
